Gentlemen, start your engines....Again (or not...)

Good news in our house this week. Yes, The Boy now has two gainfully employed parents! His Dad will start working here as a manager on Monday. Now, if only the bus schedule out there was a little better. Sadly, I'm the one who can get to work with no transfers and door to door service.....oh well, more knitting time for me!

Okay, I spoke too soon. In fact, I think that my choice of words ("start your engines") might have cursed us. The alternator light came on while driving to work, and it's not cause the belt is loose, so that means we probably need a new alternator. I hate irony. "Start your engines" indeed.

gah. The alternator. Not cheap.

Congrats on the double income, my condolences on the car. (If it's not one thing, it's another - the motto of our household)
