My newest socks

Thuja from Knitty. Well, sort of. Different yarn weight and needle size and number of stitches, but I did use the seed stitch rib, which I really like. The blur in the background is The Boy in Motion. Now that he's sleeping through the night every night, he's got a lot of extra energy, and is often a little blurry!

great sock!

Does the heat slow the boy down at all?

Doesn't seem to. Not much seems to slow him down!

What a great sock! Will have to give that pattern a whirl on the next set that I start. (Note that I didn't say finish...)

Hey, nice socks. The blur in the background cracks me up.

Got your note on my blog re the spinning. I didn't take any classes, but the lady (can't remember her name) at Gaspereau Valley showed me the basics while I was there.

What seems to help me is to pre-draft the fibre. I basically divide the roving into strips so I have less bulk to draft while spinning. I also do the draft and park.

Bring your spinning next KOL! I don't know if I'll be much help but worth a try...
